Planned Parenthood - Roseville Health Center

I had to go to the emergency room because The workers put my Paragard birth control too low Without even knowing if you wanna go somewhere better, do not go to Plan Parenthood find somewhere else that could help you with your needs and not take an emergency room trip. And if you call them back and tell them your problems, you usually have to make an appointment A month from now or five months from now. If there are no stars, I would rate this zero but I will give this a two star rating for Customer Service. The workers there are very nice and sympathetic, but other than that giving me the problem to go to the emergency room is no fun. Do not come here if you wanna have problems with your body. I have to make an appointment two or three months out just to be seen.

I had a good experience here. I had my appointment scheduled for 2:30pm and totally thought it was 10:30 am the next day. Came in at 10:30am and receptionist was so kind to meet my needs when I thought it was 10:30. She put me in as a walk in patient to be seen. I was seen pretty quick after that. I was in and out of there within 45 min.

I saw someone say the service is trash. Not true. It sometimes a long wait. But they are mostly paid by goverment so low cost. You are not going to get fancy 5 star service at a free place. Come on. But if you are poliete and understanding they are trying their best. Its fine

I went to planned parenthood to have my birth control implant removed. I was really nervous and scared because I had had a bad experience previously. Turns out my fears were unfounded. The appointment went smoothly. The doctor was very gentle and kind and the numbing process didnt even hurt all that much! I have a bruise on my arm now, but that is 100% normal for this procedure. Im grateful to them for the kindness they showed me.

Yes, they are often short staffed, but the last time that I went in there in a full panic, I was treated with the utmost respect and care in a fairly reasonable amount of time. The providers spend whatever amount of time you need to in order to counsel, comfort, and educate you in a pressure and judgement free enviornment. That can also make them run late into the next patient....Friendly reminder that short staffing isnt the fault of the employees pulling the extra weight - so try not to be a Karen about it 👍 The person before you may have had a life changing event and needed the extra moments to process. Plan to spend 1-2 hours there, but I find that even with great insurance, the quality of care I recieve is worth it.That all said, 4* because the call center to schedule is sketch lately - Definitely need more training there regarding giving disinformation and soft skills specific to dealing with reproductive health :)

Super uncomfortable waiting area and reception. 0 privacy, and a very cramped area. After waiting 2 hours (with an appointment)t hey told me it would cost an arm and a leg without insurance and to maybe look elsewhere.

First off when you have an appointment at 11 they make you wait an hour in a cramped waiting area. I get y’all are understaffed but what’s the point of an appointment if you’re already going to have to wait an hour just to go back. Then once when you’re sent back you have to wait 45 minutes just for the doctor to see you. The waiting room has a tv with movies played which is nice but for whatever reason waiting in that room made me feel so nauseous I had to step outside…needs an air purifier or essential oil diffuser something to clean that room because 🤢

I wish I could give this so called medical clinic (in quotes because theres nothing professional about this place)a zero. The absolute worst place, theyre only interested in taking youre time and money... First they can only do a single thing at a time (i.e. you couldnt say get a pap and remove an IUD you need 2 appointments) because they want to be able to charge you as much as possible(because these people are trash and want to take all of your money) not too mention their time management skills are atrocious. They were more than a half hour late, and still have the nerve to charge full price. Not only a charge for an office visit, but another charge for whatever you want done. The rooms were tiny and the farthest from sanitary. These people only want your money, they dont actually care about you as a patient. If possible go to any other planned Parenthood this one is complete trash.

Staff were very kind and calming. Also, I paid out of pocket and their services for a well person check were very affordable. Nancy was the provider who saw me and she was very good at trying to keep me comfortable and communicating exactly what to expect, and you can tell that she really cares about her patients. Very grateful for this healthcare team and the services that they provide.

The staff is always very helpful. Though they are busy, it is understandable and worth waiting to be seen. I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. The nurses are experienced, kind, and friendly and have always made me feel comfortable and informed during procedures or even while just talking to them about my birth control options.

Katie is amazing. She is excellent at her job. She is kind and makes you feel comfortable being there and always has a wonderful demeanor. I request her for all my visits.

If I could rate this a 0 star , I would , the staff are rude and the area to wait is extremely small, the walls are extremely thin and you can hear the doctors laughing about other patients . They’re supposed to be making them feel comfortable . Also they asked the same questions over and over . When my second doctor came in, I had to correct a bunch of information because the previous doctor ( the one asking questions ) had gotten everything wrong . The staff are unprofessional and when asking me questions about my pain and bleeding , they kept interrupting me every 2 seconds . They also didn’t ask if I was dressed and just walked in. This was the most UNCOMFORTABLE , worst experience I’ve ever had at a planned parenthood .

They were very polite , just be nice and respectful and they will do the same to you. Went in for my appointment a bit early due to the question form you got to fill out , other than that my appointment was fast and easy , I was nervous being there for the first time and my nurse and Doctor were the sweetest people ever. I appreciate the jobs they do, its not easy when you work for a group that is most hated .

Service was unacceptable!!! Kept rescheduling my appointment 3 different times!!!

If you are someone wanting to start HRT, planned parenthood should be the absolute last place to go. Especially if youre looking for testosterone.Ive had to pester them for almost weeks at a time for them to do anything to refill my meds, on top of them being entirely incapable of booking appointments half the time. Just go to Mercy health clinics endocrinologist. Theyre completely free if you have medical and youre in and out without any extra hoops to jump.

Thank you to everyone there, especially Amanda she is the best. She reassured me, she was a Beacon of Hope in my darkest time, and I absolutely love her service. If I need anything done ever again I will be sure to come here because not only did you guys save my life one time. But now you guys have saved it again.

I went to planned parenthood for urgent care. They took my insurance card saying they accept my insurance and charged me a 5 dollar copay. I recently received an email from my insurance saying they in fact do not cover planned parenthood and my visit costs 937 dollars. As a minimum wage employee I do not have this money to spare and would not have agreed to be seen by them if I knew it would cost this much for an STD screening. When I went in to discuss this letter I received I was told to wait in the waiting are while they looked into it. I clearly heard an employee ask another employee “do you want to deal with this?” And she laughed and responded no. Then they called me up told me they had no info on the situation. It was extremely unprofessional and frustrating that they saw me in the first place without telling me how much the visit would cost and that they in fact do not accept my insurance, on top of being so unprofessional within ear shot about my situation. Being charged 937 for an STD screening is nothing to laugh about.

I recently moved to the area from out of state and sought Roseville planned parenthood as a bridge; until I found a gynecologist in my insurance network that was accepting new patients. I found that the clinic was slightly difficult to schedule an appt.- but, that was understandable seeing how they provide many services for many people from all different walks of life. Even with that I was able to schedule an appt in the following week. After my appt I had some concerns that seemed to be getting ignored after I mentioned them several times to both the tech and the np. After visiting the Emergency Room Secondary to my concerns not being heard or attended to; I subsequently followed up with a provider that I eventually found with whom I was covered under my insurance. Let me be clear, if your intuition and your body tells you that something is wrong take heed and follow your gut. After you’ve made those concerns known & common knowledge amongst the providers you’re are seeing (Roseville planned parenthood in this case) don’t let up or ignore your signs and symptoms even if they chalk them up as normal. You know your body and you may not be able to Diagnose yourself but, you know something is off. Be vigilant and most importantly don’t stop or rest easy until your concerns are addressed. Roseville planned parenthood missed the ball in my instance. I pray that In the future the staff and providers are more attentive and listen rather than taking concerning information and categorizing it as common when it isn’t, it’s just that they may see so many uncommon things that they put everyone in the same box so to speak. I understand being overwhelmed but when dealing with someone’s medical care signs and symptoms shouldn’t be played down because of time constraints or boxing everyone in the same category. My word to the staff and providers would be to not lose touch with your humanistic traits and think outside of the box, as you could miss something that could’ve saved a life. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Roseville planned parenthood and I will not be returning unless I’m completely out of options. I had to Visit the ED which probably saved my life. It’s taken me weeks since recovering to even make this post but I think it was important enough to take the time out of my day and make others aware to be vigilant if this facility is your best option. With that being said, I will add that everyone was friendly and the wait time was not bad at all. It was lack of attention to detail and lack of critical thinking that they score poorly on.

They made me feel uncomfortable and as if I was wasting there time. The doctor I saw (named Nancy), was so disrespectful and rude to me. After my appointment ended I heard the doctor outside in the hall saying horrible things about me to the nurses. Ive been going to PP for over 8 years and this has to be by far the worse one I have now gone to. They clearly do not care to help people at this facility anymore and if they do prepare to get negative response from them.

The most horrible experience I had. I was waiting for 2 hours and 45 minutes and they charged my consultation to ended up saying that they had to reschedule my appointment for another day... dont ho here

Trans SA victim, they were kind, caring and extremely patient with me. I felt safe and comfortable during my entire visit. Very grateful for their staff

Just like any other PP location, kind, caring, informative, detailed and considerate. Staff was friendly and prompt at front desk and nurses and clinicians were timely, answered my questions to the best of their abilities and were also very warm and friendly. Bonus, I left my water bottle canteen there and they held it at the front desk for me to come pick up. I am grateful for theyre honesty.

Just got done with an over the phone appointment. The staff there is super kind, patient, and throughout in their explanations of birth control methods and side effects. Also provided valuable mental health resources. They clearly care about their clients. Awesome!

Seriously!!! This clinic has problem with patients. They did molar pregnancy surgery without numbing, I was about to die. Rudest doctor ever. Looking for a lawyer.

Ive been going here for all my reproductive needs and concerns, and every time I go in, the staff are friendly, caring, and efficient. I always appreciate their thoughtful care, and the doctors are nurses take their time to get to know you as a patient. Thank you for all that you do there!

The doctors and nurses at this location are top notch. The front desk admins have absolutely horrible, judgemental, degrading attitudes that make you feel like youre the lowest scum on earth. Wish I could give more stars for the actual workers at this facility but the front staff ruins it completely.

Was a walk in but got there when they opened. Got directed to a different facility immediately and given an appointment a week out. Stuck around for two hours trying to get an appointment if someone missed their scheduled one but failed to get any kind of assurance after getting scheduled an appointment somewhere else. Was told to wait outside when there were room open chairs in the waiting room that women would later occupy that were also waiting for appointments to open

I made an appointment and was seen within one hour which is nothing compared to other PP I have been to. The front desk gals and the gals who helped me in the back were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Awful attitudes, minimal information. Had no intrest in helping a patient in pain. When asked question, the girl behind the desk irritably gave me vague answers. When I called around to other sources (insurance, &another pph) I was told she had given us misinformation. Im a huge pph advocate and Im HIGHLY disappointed in this awful service.

Everyone is so nice here and the staff is very knowledgeable. Mandy is especially wonderful and made me feel very comfortable 😊 she also has a great sense of humor!

Staff here was very nice and yes everyone was following mask ordinances and had just what I was need Brown Bag contraception and free Perfect Thank you!!

Kind staff and fast services. I am a new patient, and I had an appointment at 9 a.m., and i was done with my appointment by 10 a.m.

Call in and schedule an appointment just to be kicked out, because they want to close early. I pay my taxes so you can flake on people. Its unprofessional to schedule an appointment, and kick them out especially if they arrive early/on time

I live in colfax ca and i went to an appt today at this location and everyone was rude they first told me that i didnt have the right appt set up and the told me something that i have never heard witch was my IUD that i was told had to be changed every 5 years didnt have to be changed every 5 it could go 6 yrs I think that i well never go back to see these people again.

Definitely look at other options before you go! There are alternative pregnancy centers around with free services! Look elsewhere before considering this place!

This place is a joke first time going today and wanted testing and restart of birth control and left with nothing because they were all booked and I wasnt high risk. Drove all the way out here for nothing. Wish womans health was still open. Never coming back to this place!!!!!

Horrible always packed .. Even with an appointment you will wait forever .. I had a couple appointment Ive made and they where 30 minutes late calling me back .. Plus know trying to charge for things I got for free in the past

Terrible the wait was ridiculous ladies were unpleasant no point of making appointment if you are going to wait two hours and people going in before you when your appointment was before theirs super annoyed

My apt was at 930 .. I walked out with out being seen at 1030 ..waiting a hour is not ok ...horrible place
